INS Golf Outing

We left Blairstown around 6 a.m. heading for Des Moines as today is the annual “INS Golf Outing.” This is definitely one day that I look forward to every year. What an event!!! You just can’t help but have a good time. Golf, great food, adult beverages (if you choose), prizes, and of course the camaraderie. I really enjoy visiting with all the people responsible for me being able to hit the race track as often as I do. A huge thank you to “INS”. Mother nature was not at all cooperative in the early part of the day, as we ran into some major rain as we approached Des Moines from the Northeast. I have to say I was wondering at one time if the golf courses would permit us on the course. As it turned out, the rain eventually stopped, stayed somewhat overcast (thank you), and we completed our golf game. A few holes were off limits, and the carts were restricted to the cart paths, but all in all it was a great day.
