USA Communications

Today is our last appearance of the year and Shellsburg, IA is our destination. We are attending their customer appreciation day. What is unusual about this trip is I do not need my GPS to help guide me there. Shellsburg is located in Benton County which is only 25 minutes from my home. I have never had an appearance this close so the short travel is greatly appreciated. I also should see a few familiar faces. We arrive with time to spare and get unloaded INSIDE!!!! Never have I been this lucky to be inside even though it turned out to be a very nice day outside.

I never got a chance to ask how many they expected, but to me it seemed like the customer appreciation day was well attended. I thought being inside with the car was terrific until I saw all the kids running around attending the festivities. Between visiting with all the adults, the kids were very active. The eraser shaped like a Goodyear slick was a real hit until we started throwing them at one another. All in all it was an interesting afternoon. We got to talk to a lot of people, visit with a few kids, and renew some old friendships from years past. I would like to thank Mark Harrison for all the help loading and unloading and the USA Communications employees for their help and hospitality.
